Our 4th Annual Charity Golf Day was held at Sandhurst Golf Course with more than 100 players turning up to help support Windermere and enjoy a great day out.
The Windermere organisation supports individuals who have experienced or are dealing with issues such as physical, emotional and sexual abuse, neglect, violence in the family, lack of housing, have been the victim of a violent crime, are living with a disability, who care for a child with a developmental delay or who just need help to fit in or feel part of their community. The emotional and practical support includes counselling, advice, education, advocacy, therapeutic interventions and reasons to come together. It also provides quality in-home and centre-based childcare and works with a number of schools to help children remain healthy and engaged.
Prestige Hino dealer principal Anthony Long leveraged AHG’s sponsorship of the Melbourne Football Club to have Dees co-captain Nathan Jones attend, along with former Richmond and Western Bulldogs star Nathan Brown.
“I thank all the sponsors, players and helpers who made the day run smoothly and turn out to be the best year yet,” said Anthony.
“We look forward to making the 2015 Annual Charity Golf Day even better.”
